And the winner is…

We just had a few entries in this week’s challenge…all wonderful, and thank you! The poem with the most votes in the Poetry Challenge this week was Maggie’s poem, with 4 votes.  Once again, I thank you for your entries, and congratulations to Maggie!

Here’s Maggie’s poem, and the abstract it was based on.

Monet Merriment (Watercolor Wanderings)
by Anne Sikes

Monet Merriment

I like to think about him, Claude Monet,
and wonder if he had a childish side.
Did his artistic fancies fly and glide
high in the skies, above the birds, and flow
like ocean currents? Color was his joy.
His blues and greens, gold yellows, pinks and mauves
elicit from us breathless oohs and ahs.
I think he played with color as a toy.

Coming up next, the winner of the Name That Abstract 12 and new Poetry Challenge, and a  Name That Abstract 13 for you.
