Ocean Dancer Poetry Challenge Winner!

Ocean Dancer
by Anne Sikes

The winner of the poetry challenge is Sandy, at the blog LBTK!  As it turns out, Sandy was the only one who submitted a poem for this, the first poetry challenge.  But also as it turns out, her poem is wonderful, and I am proud to name her as the first winner!  Here is her poem:

Ocean Dancer

She rides the waves and skims the foam.
She frightens fishies in their home.

This dancer, with her willowy wiles,
Mesmerizes the currents for miles.

The wind is her music; the ocean her stage;
Her heart is young and will never age.

And my heart is filled with warm devotion,
For the dancer that enchants the tides of the ocean.

Thank you Sandy!!  🙂  The next poetry challenge will come after we have a winner for the Name That Abstract #2.  I will post about that when I get this one posted.

      😀 Hi Steven! Will be posting another one after the winner is chosen for the Name That Abstract #2, based on whatever that turns out to be. Hope you’ll play along!

  2. And it is perfect for the artwork! It looks like what happens on a pond when the little bugs skitter across the water, just like they are dancing on it! Perfect poem for the perfect picture!

  3. Congratulations to Sandy too!
