What do you do?

Kaleidoscope

What do you do when things around you say “See?  What are you hoping for?  Don’t you see how bleak it is? Don’t you see it’s never going to work out?”

I look around me at all the ways God is evident in my life…the health needs being met, the love of family and friends, how He has a way of taking situations where you see no way out, and shining through them in amazing ways.  I look at those things and say, “See?  See what I’m hoping in? My God shall supply all my needs…just like He always does!”  Just like the picture above…even in the darkness that may be surrounding me for the moment, I can see God still spinning His beautiful colors as He works the details out, and I know all is well.

Philippians 4:19-20

King James Version (KJV)

19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Matthew 6:27-30

King James Version (KJV)

27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
