Weary Traveler

Weary Traveler
by Anne Sikes

The

                Lonely

                                And long

                                                Road goes on

                                                                And on, seeming

                                                                                To never end as we

                                                                                                Sit together and listen to

                                                                                Music play on the radio

                                                                While we talk about

                                                Our hopes and

                                Dreams

                Gone now

But not forgotten

Still life goes on and on

                                And it will be okay

                                                Someday soon

                                                                I know it

                                                                                will.
